The power of puppetry

A  workshop conducted for India's youth in its culturally and politically deeply divided northeastern region. The states of Assam, Tripura and Manipur harbour a large majority of tribal people whose identities are vulnerable to the official Hindu policies. Actors and actresses from these regions participate in a puppetry workshop in a remote tribal village in Assam to demonstrate the power which is present in their cultures and in themselves
